4. Overview of Innova's Work

Innova Association is a human-centered, non-profit organization founded in Syria in 2025. We are driven by a strong belief in the importance of empowering young people to utilize digital tools for success in a rapidly evolving digital world, and we invest strategically in meeting these needs at all levels.

Innova operates through a unique model as a fully online organization, implementing a digital efficiency policy that minimizes traditional operating costs. This allows us to allocate the highest possible percentage of our resources directly to our programs and community impact, fully aligned with international best practices in governance and transparency, as set out in the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) and Sustainable Development Goal 16 (building effective, accountable, and transparent institutions at all levels).

Innova delivers its mission through three core programmatic frameworks:

  • Digital Preparedness: Promoting digitally enabled livelihoods and ensuring inclusive access to essential digital assets.
  • Youth Digital Participation & Entrepreneurship: Fostering youth engagement across economic, civic, and entrepreneurial spheres through digital means.
  • Research & Solution Design: Mobilizing youth as knowledge creators and innovators to design solutions for community challenges.
